These are the main measures of the Shock Plan against the economic and social impact of the war
On the one hand, we are facing an extension until June 30 of the measures that are already in force. Those people who have contracted a rate less than 10 kW of power will have a reduction in the tax rate, which will be at a 10% VAT. Besides, the Natural Gas Last Resort Tariff (TUR) will maintain a 15% limit on the increase in the cost of raw materials.
The extension of the Social bonus of the electricity bill, which is a 25% discount on the PVPC rates and allows discounts of up to 1,380 KWh for individual consumers and up to 4,140 KWh in the case of large families. A category of severe vulnerable group is also completed, in which case the discount will be 70% on the price of the PVPC. In addition, the number of households that will be able to access this discount is increased, reaching almost 2 million homes.
Lastly, these social policies have also been included in the framework of the Shock Plan against the economic and social impact of the war, Thermal Social Bonus to which the beneficiaries of the Electric Social Bonus will also be entitled, and which seeks to facilitate access to heating or hot water for people in a situation of vulnerability.
