Thermomix has recently announced its new cooking  mode, Peel Mode , already available in the latest model of the brand, the  Thermomix TM6 , and also in the Thermomix TM5 , through a software update and thanks to the new accessory that is already available. can acquire.

How the Thermomix Peel Mode works

As its name suggests, this new cooking mode  allows us to automatically peel food such as vegetables or potatoes . The capacity is from  200 to 800 grams at one time, in a time of  4 minutes . In order for it to work, the machine must be updated with the latest software version available and the new blade cover and peeler accessory must be inserted into it  , along with water. The peeling is done thanks to the friction between the glass and the new accessory and allows us to rush the food to avoid the waste that is usually done when we peel by hand.

In addition, thanks to the water that we incorporate into the glass before peeling, the skin remains soft and does not stick to the machine, which also facilitates the subsequent cleaning of this appliance.

Peel Mode

This mode is in addition to the 15 existing modes in Thermomix TM6: Knead, Turbo, Rice cooking, Scale, Vacuum, Ferment, Thicken, Sugar points, Heat, Prewash, High temperature, Egg cooking, Shred and Kettle.

In what models can I use this accessory?

Unfortunately, if you have an old Thermomix model, you will not be able to use this new mode. It is only available  for Thermomix TM6 and for Thermomix TM5 , but, as we have already told you, you will need to buy the accessory and update the machine to the latest software version available. If you have any other model, we regret to tell you that you will have to peel by hand and you will not be able to use this function, as it is not compatible.
